Meeting 7 (February 19, in-person)

  • Reviewed Trifold Layout and Oral Presentations
  • Mr. Rip will review and return slides
  • Students will create trifolds and 5 minute oral presentations


Meeting 6 (January 30, in-person)

  • Discussed conclusions and next steps
  • All students must complete the basic project info. and ethics and due care on the CYSF platform
  • CYSF platform information must be completed and Assignment 5 must be completed in order to continue in the Science Fair and to recieve your trifold.

Assignment 5 - Due Wednesday, February 12 at 4 pm

Please submit (email to jmrip@cbe.ab.ca or print) the following slides, in order:

(each slide must have the heading and the expected information. You may need more than one slide for your information)

Meeting 5 (January 22, online)

  • Discussed data analysis, tables, and graphs

Assignment 4 - Due Thursday, January 30 at 4 pm

If you are not done your experiment or research email Mr. Rip immediately and say when you will be done

Otherwise, submit to jmrip@cbe.ab.ca:

  • Summary data (average, percent, etc.)
  • Graphs
  • Tables


Meeting 4 (December 11, In-person)

  • Discussed background research

Assignment 3 - Due Friday, January 10 at 4 pm

Email Mr. Rip your responses to the following questions jmrip@cbe.ab.ca

  • Complete your background research and share your references
  • At least 3 slides or sections, use point form
