The Grizzly Update Sept. 18-22 | Welcome Back Breakfast, Meet the Teacher, Litter, Orange Shirt Day Event,
Hello Grizzly Families,
We hope you have had a fantastic weekend with your family. It was so great to see so many new and returning faces this Friday at our Welcome Back Breakfast, we have such a fantastic community here at Glamorgan and we love when we are able to come together.
Below we have included a few updates/reminders and noted some upcoming important dates. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
Welcome Back Breakfast
Our Welcome Back Breakfast this past Friday was a massive success and we wanted to send a heartfelt thank you to the parent council and parents/guardians who volunteered to make this event possible. A special thank you also goes out to Carly for leading the charge and ensuring it ran as smoothly as possible! We also wanted to thank everyone who was able to take the time out of the day to attend. We know it isn’t always possible but we are happy to see our community come together when we can.
Meet the Teacher
Our Meet the Teacher night is schedule for this upcoming Thursday, September 21. You can expect an additional email which will include more details about the evening. We can’t wait to have you all back.
Litter in the Community
Since returning for the new school year, we have seen an increased amount of litter in the community, particularly along the fence near Grafton Drive. While we know the majority of our students are not littering, we are asking parents/guardians to have a conversation with their children about the impact of litter on the environment and to discuss what we can do to keep our school community litter-free.
