Student-Led Conferences

As we head into Spring Break, we are very excited to invite all families to attend our upcoming student-led conferences this Thursday, March 21. The booking system is accessible online through your MyCBE account. These conferences are an opportunity for your child to demonstrate the remarkable progress they have made throughout the past year and to guide their families through their own learning journey.

Please note, these conferences are designed for students to be the presenters of their own work and are not the setting for one-on-one discussions with teachers about individual concerns. Should you need a private conversation, we kindly ask that you email your child’s teacher directly to begin the discussion about any specific matters.

Nation’s Vision will be visiting Glamorgan School in the month of May 2024

Nation’s Vision will be visiting Glamorgan School to provide comprehensive eye exams to any students who require one. Exams are performed at the school by licensed optometrists. Parents wishing for their child to have this opportunity must complete and return the permission slip by March 21, 2024.

Please find the attached permission form, print, fill out and return to the school office, please have your student drop the completed, signed form to the office, if you wish for your child to have an eye exam at school

Nations Vision Consent Form - Student

If you do not have a printer, please have your child stop by the office to pick up a paper form.

All school children are eligible, particularly members of families struggling to access eye care services in the community. There is no fee charged for this.

Volunteer Tea: Save the Date

Glamorgan School will be hosting our annual Volunteer Tea on May 30 to show our appreciation to all of our volunteers that have supported our school throughout the year. Details of the event will be sent out at a later date.

Are You Up to Date with School Fees?

Please check your MyCBE/PowerSchool account to ensure all school fees have been paid.

Fees are charged to cover the gap between the cost of programs and services and the funding provided by the province. If you are unable to pay fees all at once, flexible payment options are available. Please contact the main office to discuss, or drop by the school during regular hours.

Food Bank Reminder

Let's celebrate the many occasions happening this and next month by working together to make donations to feed people in need.  As a school effort, the leadership class is hosting an event where we would like to gather as much as we can by next week.  The food bank will be picking up the donations on Thursday, March 21.  The last day to donate will be on the morning of Wednesday, March 20.  Leadership students will be coming around to tally up the class donations.  Let's work hard to help those in need!
