The Grizzly Update June 3, 2024 | Athletics, Uniforms, Upcoming Events!

Hello Grizzly Families,

We hope everyone had an amazing weekend with their families! We can’t believe we are in the last month of school!

Below we have included a few updates/reminders and noted some upcoming important dates. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.

Track: Track season is upon us! The Grizzlies are heading back to the Divisional track meet on June 7. Students from Grade 6-9 are able to participate and the team is being finalized. Please ensure if your child is participating in the meet they return their forms ASAP. Please connect with Ms. Thiele with any questions you may have.

To prepare for the end of the school year, the used uniform sale and our students and families worked exceptionally hard to meet our fundraising goal for this year’s Spelling Bee, students will be allowed to wear casual for the final two weeks beginning June 17!
However, we still have had a number of students who do not wear their appropriate school uniform on a regular basis. As a result, students who are not wearing the appropriate school uniform over the next two weeks will not be allowed to participate in casual week and will continue to be required to wear their uniform for the remainder of school. For questions regarding this policy please reach out to Ms. Nixon or Mr. Mattersdorfer.

Thank you so much to everyone who was able to attend the volunteer tea this past week. We are so lucky to have such a dedicated group of family and community members who are able to support our students and school community! Thank you to Ms. Dimitriadis, Mr. Klaassen and Ms. Carrick for getting the event organized and for all of our staffs support to make sure the event was a success. We hope to see everyone next year!

The Glamorgan Used Uniform Sale will take place June 20 from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM. If you have any used informs you would like to donate to our upcoming sale please drop them off at the office!
