The Grizzly Update Feb. 5-9 | Report Cards, Artist in Residence, Minecraft, Lightening Cables, Webinar,
Hello Grizzly Families,
We hope everyone had a great week and enjoyed the wonderful weather!
Below we have included a few updates/reminders and noted some upcoming important dates. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
Report Cards
Report cards for all student in the CBE have been available for review and printing on your MyCBE account since on January 30. Please see the message below regarding how to access your child’s report card. Please reach out to your child’s teachers for any questions regarding reporting.
Accessing Online Report Cards through MyCBE
- Families will be able to view online student report cards for Kindergarten to Grade 12 on Jan. 30, 2024. Report cards for the 2023-24 school year may be viewed, downloaded and/or printed.
- Parents and Guardians can sign in to MyCBE to view student information, including report cards, comments from your child’s teacher, assignments and grades, and attendance information. For best access to information, log in to the MyCBE portal instead of using the PowerSchool App.
- Need Help? Check out these videos for more information on how to log in and navigate the portal when you have more than one child attending CBE schools.

Artist in Residence at Glamorgan
We have had an amazing week of learning with our artist in residence Chantal Stormsong Chagnon this past week and are looking forward to the continued opportunity we have this week. Our students have engaged in meaningful conversations and lessons already and we are excited to see what this week holds!
Minecraft Club Returns!
It's back! We will be starting up the Glamorgan Minecraft Club online from home on Tuesday, February 27 from 5-5:45pm. We will meet online using Google Meet on Tuesdays until April (spring break interrupts a bit of this). This is for students in grades 1-9. Please see the attached slide show on how to join the club and get started with Minecraft Education Edition to practice a bit ahead of time if you are new to it.

Donation Request (Lightning Cables)
We are looking for any donations of old working lightning cables families may have lying around for our iPads. We have a number of cords that have been damaged from overuse and are hoping to replace some of them as our Grade 2’s embark on their 12 week coding course through Robogarden. Please send any working lightning cables with your child to the main office.
