Hello Grizzly Families,
We hope everyone has had a great weekend with you families! We can’t believe we are already in December but are excited for our upcoming winter break and for our upcoming winter activities. Below we have included a few updates/reminders and noted some upcoming important dates. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
Staff Appreciation
Thank you to everyone who contributed to the Teacher Appreciation meal during school conferences. Our staff was so overwhelmed by the delicious food provided and the effort put forward by the school community. Special thank you to Tinu for organizing!
Book Fair
The Book Fair was a HUGE success! Thank you so much for your support! New books will be coming into the Learning Commons soon because of your generosity. A huge shoutout to the Parent Volunteers and the Junior High Volunteers! We could not have done it without you.
Used Uniform Sale
The Used Uniform Sale was a huge success. Thank you to everyone who attended and special thank you to Nola for organizing the event!
Child & Youth Well-Being | Family & Caregiver Series 2023-24
The Calgary Board of Education is inviting all families and caregivers to join in an online series focusing on child and youth well-being. These sessions are hosted in partnership with Alberta Health Services and will explore topics such as vaping, brain development, mental health, and sexual health.
These sessions are offered free of charge and provide information, resources, helplines, and services to support healthy child and youth development. Please see the attached document for more information on these upcoming sessions.
