The Grizzly Update

Glamorgan School | November 2–6, 2026

Important Dates

Important Safety Reminder | Student Drop-Off and Pick-Up

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Effective immediately, student drop-off and pick-up in the staff parking lot is strictly prohibited.

The staff parking lot is reserved exclusively for staff vehicles. Unauthorized student drop-off and pick-up in this area creates a serious safety risk for students, families, and staff.

All families must use the designated student drop-off and pick-up arrangements, which involve legal street parking in the surrounding community.

Please remember:

• The staff parking lot is reserved for staff vehicles only.
• Student drop-off and pick-up are not permitted in the staff parking lot, even for quick stops.
• Families must use legal street parking in the community.
• There are no exceptions to this rule.

We expect all parents and guardians to follow these requirements to help ensure the safety of our entire school community.

Thank you for your immediate attention and cooperation.

Student Lunches | Reminder to Families

We have noticed an increase in the number of students arriving at school without their lunches.

Please ensure your child brings a lunch to school each day.

When lunches are forgotten, school staff must take time away from their regular duties to contact families and arrange alternatives.

Please note: The school does not have extra prepared lunches available.

To help students arrive prepared for the school day, we encourage families to:

• Make checking for lunch part of their child's daily morning routine.
• Prepare lunches the night before whenever possible.
• Remind students to check their backpacks before leaving home.

Thank you for your cooperation and support in helping students be ready for learning each day.
