Happy Monday, Grizzly Families!
This past week was full of energy, accomplishment, and fun throughout our school! After months of dedication and hard work, our students took to the stage and delivered a fantastic performance of Matilda. Their commitment truly shone through, and we are so proud of their efforts. Meanwhile, our Grade 1 and 2 students had an exciting week at the pool, enjoying swimming lessons and building their confidence in the water. We hope everyone had an incredible long weekend with their families!

You're Invited to Our Annual Volunteer Tea!
We’re thrilled to invite you to Glamorgan School’s Annual Volunteer Tea, taking place on Thursday, June 5! This special event is our way of expressing heartfelt thanks for the time, care, and support you've generously shared with our school community throughout the year.
Please note: The previous Grizzly Update included an incorrect date — please mark your calendars for June 5.
Last year, we were disappointed to have unintentionally missed inviting some of our amazing volunteers. To help us avoid that this year, we kindly ask that anyone who has volunteered at Glamorgan School, whether for home reading, the Grandparents Program, Spelling Bee, classroom support, field trips, skating, or any other event or activity, please fill out the following form to register for the tea.
Our volunteers make an incredible impact at Glamorgan, and we want to make sure every single one of you is recognized and celebrated for the difference you make!
My 1st Ride Program – May 24 and May 25, 2025
School Bus Orientation
The CBE offers a school bus orientation program called My 1st Ride. This program is designed to familiarize students with the experience of taking the yellow bus to and from school on a regular basis.
The orientation is aimed at first-time riders, students with special transportation needs and older students. Each group is offered an orientation session to meet their diverse needs. The orientation typically takes place annually in May and consists of a 20-minute presentation followed by a short ride on a school bus. Each new rider will also be given a certificate of completion.
Staff from CBE Transportation, Calgary Catholic School District and our service providers are available for information and/or questions.
Participants must register in advance. Spots are limited and are on a first-come, first-served basis. Learn more!
Thank you and have a wonderful day!
