Grizzly Update
Week of October 12-16, 2026
Morning Start time
Instruction at Glamorgan begins promptly at 9:10 a.m. It is important that students are in their classrooms and ready to begin learning on time each day.
The 9:00am bell is when school doors open, letting students know that it is time to come inside the school and make their way to their classrooms. For students who benefit from a little extra time to get settled and ready for the day, we offer a soft start beginning at 9:00 a.m., giving students 10 minutes to be ready to learn and be in their seats in the classroom ready for attendance.
We have noticed an increase in students arriving after 9:10 a.m. and appreciate families' support in helping students arrive with enough time to be ready for learning when instruction begins. Did you know? Arriving just five minutes late each day adds up to approximately 15 hours of missed learning time over the course of a school year. We appreciate families’ support in ensuring students arrive on time whenever possible.
We recognize that bus delays happen and are beyond your control.
Thank you for helping us start each day positively and on time!
Have you booked a time slot for the upcoming conferences?
Parent-teacher conferences are an opportunity to engage in conversation about your child’s learning. Parents/guardians and teachers are able to connect and communicate openly about student learning, especially with respect to areas of strength and areas of growth. They help build and sustain respectful relationships that allow both parties to share information and develop strategies to support student success .If there are no more available time slots, please email your child's homeroom teacher.

Friendly Reminder to check for school fees
Online is the best and easiest way – pay with your credit card through MyCBE
If you are unable to make your payments online, pay with your debit or credit card at your child’s current or previous school
If you're unable to pay your fees, you may be eligible to apply for a waiver. Central waivers apply only to central fees (e.g., lunch supervision), while school-based fees are reviewed separately by the school. A new school waiver application must be completed each new school year.
Security | To protect your personal and financial information, we do not accept credit card information over the phone, by fax or by mail.
Pay Online with MyCBE
You can pay outstanding school fees online with MyCBE.
You can sign up for services like transportation or lunch supervision, pay fees and view or print receipts and statements for all your children in one location.
Paying online is quick and easy. Online fee payment offers flexibility in payment methods, convenience, and real-time information on payments including receipts and statements.
